Keyboard Shortcuts

On Mac and iPad, you can do almost everything with a keyboard shortcut.

To view available keyboard shortcuts while using Stache on your Mac look at the Menu Bar options. While using a physical keyboard with your iPad hold the command key to view keyboard shortcuts.

General

  • Search Links: Cmd + F
  • Undo: Cmd + Z

Saving

  • Save Link: Cmd + N
  • Save Link from Clipboard: Cmd + S

Layout

  • Show Article Only: Control + 1
  • Show Links List and Article: Control + 2
  • Show Filters, Links List, and Articles: Control + 3
  • Go to Next Link: J
  • Go to Previous Link: K

Search Filters

  • Search Filters: Cmd + Shift + O (letter “O”)

Apply Primary Filter

  • Filter Unread: Cmd + 1
  • Filter Favorites: Cmd + 2
  • Filter Highlighted: Cmd + 3
  • Filter Archive: Cmd + 4
  • Filter Untagged: Cmd + 5

Subfilter (Subfilters can be applied on top of primary filters)

  • Subfilter Unread: Cmd + Shift + 1
  • Subfilter Favorites: Cmd + Shift + 2
  • Subfilter Highlighted: Cmd + Shift + 3
  • Sort Newest to Oldest: Option + 1
  • Sort Oldest to Newest: Option + 2
  • Sort Shortest to Longest: Option + 3
  • Sort Longest to Shortest: Option + 4

Viewer

  • Scroll Down: L
  • Scroll Up: ; (Semicolon)
  • Add or Remove Highlight from Currently Selected Text: H
  • Add Note to Currently Selected Text: Cmd + Shift + N
  • Save Note: Control + Option + S
  • Toggle Full View: Cmd + / (Forward Slash)
  • Increase Font Size: Cmd + + (Plus)
  • Decrease Font Size: Cmd + - (Minus)
  • Increase Line Height: Cmd + ↓ (Down Arrow)
  • Decrease Line Height: Cmd + ↑ (Up Arrow)
  • Increase Page Margin: Cmd + ← (Left Arrow)
  • Decrease Page margin: Cmd + → (Right Arrow)
  • Open Highlights: Cmd + Shift + H
